Police on High Alert for Drunk Drivers
Thanksgiving is this coming week and Santa Maria Police have already started their DUI saturation checkpoints.
They plan to find and arrest people who are driving while intoxicated.
A local woman says she will likely have a few glasses of wine, but added that it’s far too dangerous to get behind the wheel while drunk, not only now, but all year long.
