Three Car Crash Sends One Person To Hospital
A three car traffic collision sent one person to the hospital Wednesday morning.
Oxnard police say the accident happened just before 10 a.m. at the intersection of Canino Del Sol and Kohala streets.
Investigators say two of the cars were driving along Kohala street in opposite directions, when a pickup truck ran a red ant and slammed into the two cars.
The driver of the pickup was not wearing a seat belt and was partially ejected from the car.
He was taken to Ventura County Medical Center where he is in critical condition. He is being treated for serious head trauma and broken bones.
The other two drivers were not hurt.
The investigation is ongoing.
