Lou Ferrigno to Host Body-Building Competition in Santa Barbara

The day after Thanksgiving, Lou Ferrigno’s first-ever Ferrigno Legacy Finals could give body-building fans the inspiration they need to get fit.

But the original Incredible Hulk said people don’t have to be body builders to enjoy the show at the Granada Theatre in Santa Barbara on Nov 28 and 29.

Tickets range from: $33-$48.

Ferrigno was 1973’s Mr. Universe, and the co-star of the classic documentary “Pumping Iron.” The part-time San Luis Obispo resident overcame a hearing loss to become one of the most famous body builders in the world and he hopes to inspire people to improve their own well-being.

He said watching the men and women of all ages compete is a positive thing to do.

Participants will compete for more than $30,000 in bikini, physique and body-building divisions. A portion of the proceeds go to fight muscular dystrophy
