Pismo Beach Mayor Race Separated by One Vote
Pismo Beach incumbent Mayor Shelly Higginbotham is leading her challenger, Kevin Kreowski, by one vote.
In Arroyo Grande, incumbent Tony Ferrara continues to trail the write-in choice on the ballot by 121 votes. Jim Hill qualified as a write-in candidate, but it is not known yet how many voters marked his name for their write-in choice.
Eight votes remain to be counted in Pismo Beach, and at least 32 ballots remain to be counted in Arroyo Grande.
Neither race can be called yet.
The county plans to resume counting as soon as Friday and finish by Thanksgiving.
