Goleta Vehicle Accident Sends One to Hospital
An early morning motorcycle accident in Goleta sent one person to Cottage Hospital with serious injuries.
The accident happened in the 400 block of North Fairview Avenue in front of the Goleta Library shortly after 6:30 a.m. Tuesday.
A vehicle traveling along Fairview was unable to avoid colliding with the motorcycle.
Santa Barbara County Fire responded with one engine and one ladder truck, and was assisted by emergency medical crews and the California Highway Patrol.
Capt. David Sadecki, Santa Barbara Co. Fire, said one person suffered serious injuries and one was treated on scene.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
