Veterans Day Concert Honors Women Soldiers
It was beautiful music today at the first Presbyterian church in Santa Barbara.
It was all part of a veterans memorial concert — specifically honoring women in the military.
The event was sponsored by the Pierre Claeyssens veterans foundation, and featured music performed by the Westmont college orchestra and the Santa Barbara Choral Society.
The keynote speaker was Col. Kathleen Conley — retired from the United States Air Force.
Colonel Conley currently serves as a research staff member at the Institute for Defense Analysis.
