Media Center Now Open at Bishop Diego High School

Bishop Diego High School just unveiled a brand new media center. A ribbon cutting was held Thursday evening for parents, teachers and alumni.

The Gherini Center is the home of multimedia classes including Bishop Diego television.

BDTV is the daily news show the teens produce. The new television studio is equipped with the latest computers, cameras and a state of the art set.

The facility will be used to teach the high school students about the broadcasting business and prepare them for college.

This is just phase one of the new center. Bishop High hopes to add a recording studio soon.
