Classic ‘Endless Summer’ Movie Celebration Taking Place in Santa Barbara

An iconic surfing movie will be celebrated with a special event at the Santa Barbara Harbor tomorrow night.

The Endless Summer film turns 50 years old this year, and there’s no better place to pay a tribute to the film maker and the movie than the Endless Summer Bar Cafe at the waterfront.

A specially priced event with food and drinks and has been created for the party.
The movie will be shown in both the restaurant and inside the nearby maritime Museum.

Owner Steve Hyslop says “a number of the people who come here are part of the surf community, the athletic community or the scholastic community. It’s a great place to come spend an hour and a half, talk story with friends, make friends, and when you are here, you feel like you are a part of an endless summer.”

The Endless Summer film maker Bruce Brown, a Santa Barbara County resident, will be part of the festivities .
