Atascadero Man Arrested For Felony Assault In SLO

An Atascadero man is behind bars this morning after police say he punched another man in the face – sending him to the hospital.

It happened at 1 a.m. today in downtown San Luis Obispo on Monterey and Chorro streets.

Police say 21-year-old Joshua Bradshaw got upset with another man who apparently said a derogatory comment to one of the females he was walking with.

The victim, a 21-year-old San Luis Obispo resident was sent to Sierra Vista Hospital. He sustained a fractured orbital and jaw.

Bradshaw was charged with felony assault and violation of his probation. His bail was set at $50,000.
