Royals Sweep Dons in Girls Volleyball
Payback and a piece of first place. San Marcos girls volleyball got both as they swept rival Santa Barbara 3-0 at the Thunderhut.
Anika Wilson had ten kills while Gabi Peoples had 23 assists as the Royals defeated the Dons 25-16, 25-18, 25-20.
The Royals avenged a loss at Santa Barbara earlier in the season and with this victory, San Marcos is now tied for first in the Channel League with Dos Pueblos at 4-2. Santa Barbara is 3-3.
