Free Shredding Event Happening Thursday in Goleta

Community West Bank is hosting shredding parties.

The event is a free service to help prevent identity theft and fraud by allowing residents to get rid of their personal and sensitive documents in a safe and secure way.

Hundreds of people showed up to the shredding event at Community West Bank in Ventura on Tuesday.

Another free shredding event will happen on Thursday at the Goleta Community West Bank at 4827 Hollister Avenue. The free shredding is from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
