Woman Arrested for Second DUI After Crashing Into Stopped Car

A woman is behind bars this morning after police say she rear-ended another vehicle while driving drunk.

It happened Saturday afternoon when police say 53-year-old San Luis Obispo resident Lisa Davis was driving along Marsh Street.

They say her Ford F-150 rear-ended a Subaru Outback stopped at a red light.

The victim suffered a minor injury.

Officers say Davis was driving under a suspended license from a prior DUI. She also had an active warrant for her arrest for failure to appear on a prior DUI arrest.

Davis was booked into the San Luis Obispo County Jail for felony DUI causing injury, driving on a suspended driver’s license, and the DUI-related warrant. The bail for the warrant was set at $10,000. The bail for the felony DUI arrest was set at $100,000.
