Star Voice Crowns 2014 Singing Champion

A voice fit for Broadway took home the big win for this years Star Voice Singing competition. Annali Fuchs of Santa Maria wowed audiences Satuday night at the Chumash Casino with her powerhouse voice. The New York Native made it to the Top 4 alongside Luther Richmond of Santa Barbara, Djoir Jordan of Thousand Oaks and Jineanne Coderre of Santa Maria.

Performing for a nearly sold out crowd, 12 finalists lit up the stage. These finalists were locals from the Ventura, Santa Barbara, and San Luis Obispo areas who were chosen from a pool of more than 100 people. Contestants were able to sing a song of their genre of choice and votes were collected by a panel of distinguished judges as well as the audience.

KEYT Anchor Shirin Rajaee hosted the event and shared the stage with the George Shelby Band. For the past 8 seasons, this band has been the house band for American Idol and have performed with the likes of Beyonce, Aretha Franklin, Bruce Springsteen, Stevie Wonder and others.

Fuchs takes home $5,000, a chance to record in a world class studio, and open up for an act at the Chumash Casino.
