New Noise Conference and Festival Brings 50 Bands to Santa Barbara

The New Noise Conference and Festival kicks off today in Santa Barbara with the first of 50 bands over five days.

There will be a wide range of rock, pop, surf, hip-hop, reggae and independent rising star bands.

Many of the venues have a small to medium capacity giving the audience a close up seat for the shows and a chance to meet the performers.

Sunday, there will be a block party in the “Funk Zone” and a free day of seminars on the music industry with agents, performers and experts on marketing. That will be held at the Santa Barbara Art Foundry.

Friday night there will be a special New Noise Happy Hour with Dj Darla Bea at the Blind Tiger nightclub with drink specials and ticket giveaways.

Sunday night the always popular band – Dishwalla, headlines at the SOHO restaurant and music club.

Many shows are for all ages, and ticket prices start at $5.00.
