One Person in Serious Condition After Falling From Balcony in Isla Vista
One person was taken to the hospital and is in serious condition after falling from a balcony in Isla Vista.
The accident happened around 9:30 Thursday night on the 6600 block of Del Playa Drive.
Santa Barbara County firefighters responded to the scene. They said the victim was at a house party before they fell.
The victim fell 30 to 40 feet from the house balcony to the beach.
Fire crews used a stokes basket to transport the person from the beach, up a flight of stairs and into an ambulance.
