Putting a Stop to Vehicle/Pedestrian Collisions in Santa Maria
The Santa Barbara County District Attorney’s office will hold a traffic safety and awareness walk on Saturday, Oct. 11, from 11a.m to 3 p.m at Preisker Park in Santa Maria.
The DA’s office and the Santa Maria Police Department is inviting the publid to come to the park for a walk on Saturday.
There will be educational information booths at the event. It is free to attend. Walking is voluntary. Proceeds from the event will go toward building a permanent memorial at the park.
The cost to walk is $10 for adults with a dog, $15 without a dog, and $10 for children seven and above.
