Royals Rally Past DP in H2O
San Marcos boys water polo has been closing the gap with Dos Pueblos and the Royals finally beat the Chargers 14-12 after a strong second half.
Trailing 11-9 in the third quarter, the Royals caught and passed the Chargers with two goals to end the third and three more unanswered goals in the fourth quarter.
Kameron Bebb’s goal early in the fourth gave San Marcos a 12-11 lead and the Royals never looked back. Bebb was one of four Royals with three goals. Bebb had never beaten DP in his four years at San Marcos.
DP was upset with the officiating as four Chargers fouled out including superstar Blake Parrish who finished with a game-high five goals.
