Santa Barbara County Offers Free Workshops to Reduce Organic Waste

The Santa Barbara County Public Works Department is offering free workshops to promote the reduction of organic waste.

The workshops provide alternatives to throwing away food scraps and yard waste by showing the community how to create compost, reduce food waste, and mulch property.

The next workshops are scheduled for spring 2015.

However, the county will provide private sessions for groups of five or more before then.
