One Man Arrested in Late Night Walmart Robbery

A man is in jail after allegedly robbing a Walmart in Ventura.

Juan Olmos, 23, is accused of stealing from the Walmart on the 1700 block of Victoria Avenue Tuesday night, police said.

When officers arrived to the scene they found Olmos still in the store. Olmos allegedly pointed an airsoft gun at the officers, and then took off running, police said.

After a short chase, Ventura police were able to take Olmos down and arrest him.

Olmos was booked into the Ventura County Jail.
