Sunday Night Car Crash Near Buellton Kills One, Injures Another
A Lompoc man has died following a car accident along highway 246 just before 10 p.m. Sunday.
The crash happened just east of Domingo Road. Officers say the 46 year-old man was thrown from the back seat of an SUV when the driver drifted off the road, causing the car to flip over.
The victim’s name will not be released until his family is notified.
The driver, David Martinez, 27, is also from Lompoc and broke his wrist in the crash.
Another passenger was not hurt in the accident.
