Santa Maria Police Investigating Another Armed Robbery

Santa Maria police are investigating the latest in a string of armed robberies to hit the city.

Officers responded to a report of a stickup at El Campesino Market on North Broadway Monday around 11:30 p.m.

Store clerks told police two men wearing masks entered the store and robbed them at gunpoint. The robbers got away with an undisclosed amount of money.

SMPD says the the investigation into this robbery is ongoing and they are determining whether this incident is related to a sting of armed robberies from earlier this week within the city of Santa Maria.
