Overturned Truck Closes SR-1 Monday Morning
A two vehicle accident on SR-1 at Jalama Road south of Lompoc closed the highway Monday morning.
At around 5:18 a.m., California Highway Patrol reported a box truck was driving on SR-1 when it clipped the side of a bridge, causing it to loose control, and flip on it’s side.
A second vehicle then ran into the back of the truck.
CHP closed SR-1 at 246 intersection in Lompoc at 7:24 a.m. Monday morning.
Traffic is currently limited to one way traffic around the accident by CHP>
No report of injuries at this time.
