Carpinteria Body Discovered Saturday but No New Answers
The body discovered Saturday in the Carpinteria Salt Marsh has yet to be officially identified but investigators say they know who it is.
The cause of death has not been revealed.
The body was described as a man in his sixties.
Yellow tape was stretched across a section of the tidal pool property near Third St. The investigation took place quietly and few residents know a suspicious death had taken place until the coroner left the scene.
