Another $200. was donated to the FFA in an auction of the largest avocado, which weighed nearly four pounds. It was purchased by Gary Dobbins.
The always popular avocado ice cream made this year by “Here’s the Scoop” sold out just as the festival ended Sunday with 5600 cones and cups served up.
