Body Found in Carpinteria Salt Marsh
The Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death of a man in his 60’s found in the Carpinteria Salt Marsh.
A person walking in the area Saturday around 10:30 a.m. discovered the body and called authorities.
A witness tells KEYT/KCOY/KKFX she watched as firefighters and deputies carried a body bag out of the area.
The Sheriff’s Office says the man, a Carpinteria resident, has been identified, but his name is not being released at this time.
