Community West Bank Robbed on State Street
Santa Barbara police have the Commmunity West Bank roped off with crime tape at this hour after a brazen robbery Thursday morning.
It happened just before 11:00 at the branch at 1501 State St.
Police scanner traffic described the suspect as a 45 to 50-year-old black man with a thin build, wearing sunglasses and a blue sweater.
Scanner activity also described witnesses seeing a second suspect sitting in a car in the bank parking lot holding a “long” gun.
