Georgia Brown Elementary School Receives New School Garden

Georgia Brown Elementary School in Paso Robles received a new school garden this week donated by Sunset SAVOR the Central Coast, Sunset Magazine and Visit San Luis Obispo County.

Local San Luis Obispo non-profit organization One Cool Earth prepared the farm to school garden using supplies donated by Farm Supply.

Swiss chard, red romaine, fig trees, olive trees, edible flowers, cabbage, kale, strawberries, and a selection of herbs were all included in the donation.

The new school garden will become part of the ongoing educational program helping students to learn about growing and eating fresh, local produce.
