7-Eleven Helps Santa Barbara County Food Bank

Santa Barbara area 7-Eleven stores have united to raise money for the Food Bank of Santa Barbara County.

In the last month, coin boxes at the counter were set up and customers were encouraged to put their extra change inside.

The donations, while seemingly small at the time, have added up to a big contribution.

7-Eleven says the cash will pay for over $15,000. worth of food when purchased by the Food Bank through its suppliers.

That will help thousands of families locally.
