Second Bank Robbed On Upper State Street
Police say they are still looking for a robbery suspect Friday, and that he was in and out of the bank in a matter of minutes.
The theft happened at the Montecito Bank and Trust located on the 3800 block of State Street.
Police just released this surveillance photo of the suspect in this robbery.
The man is seen wearing a red baseball hat and dark shirt. Police said he walked into the bank at 12:51 p.m.
He showed a teller a note claiming he had a gun and demanding money.
The man matches the description of another robbery suspect who robbed a Bank of the West, just a few weeks ago.
Police believe the man left in a silver sedan. They are searching the area and nearby law enforcement agencies are on alert.
