Edwards Settling in at QB for Vaqueros

The freshman is getting better each week. Brandon Edwards won the quarterback job at Santa Barbara City College over several teammates and he looks like he is intent on staying number one on the depth chart.

After struggling in an opening-season loss, Edwards has led SBCC to two straight wins. He rallied the team at Hancock two weeks ago and last Saturday he threw three first-half touchdown passes at East L.A.

He is currently sixth in the state in accuracy, completing over 63 percent of his passes.

Edwards and SBCC host West L.A. this Saturday at 1 p.m. to open up the American Pacific League.
