San Luis Obispo Police Make Early Morning Burglary Arrest at Elks Lodge

On Wednesday around 4:00a.m, San Luis Obispo police officers responded to the Elks Lodge for a burglary alarm.

Officers saw what appeared to be a flashing light coming from a flashlight inside the lodge.

Police surrounded the building. Trevor Johnson fled from the scene to the cemetery nearby. Police were able to arrest him after a brief foot pursuit.

Johnson was wearing rubber gloves in an effort to avoid leaving fingerprints at the crime scene. Johnson was arrested for burglary and resisting arrest. Bail was set at $20,000.

During their investigation police officers contacted Brandon Foster who was in a vehicle parked on the Elks Lodge property.

Foster was asleep. Police believe he and Johnson were on the scene together. Foster had five active warrants, and he was arrested with $50,000 bail.
