Brain Injury Researcher Gives People With Brain Injuries Hope
A talk by a pioneering brain researcher sold out at the Fess Parker Resort Monday night.
Dr. Michael Merzenich spoke at a benefit for Cottage Rehabilitation Hospital.
Merzenich provides brain training for the show ‘Hack My Brain.”
Merzenich said mental abilities are not unchangeable or fixed in early life.
People with injuries can improve their brains with training that Merzenich likens to a computer gym. People can also keep their brain fit or improve it as they age.
