House Fire Quickly Extinguished in San Luis Obispo

Firefighters are looking into what started a fire in a San Luis Obispo home. It started in the attic of the home at 424 Foothill Road just after 9:15 p.m. Monday.

A neighbor alerted the person inside the home after seeing smoke coming out of the house. Firefighters were able to put out the fire within 15 minutes and confine the fire to the attic.

No one was hurt and damage is estimated at $15,000.
