‘Glow In The Park’ Lights Up Santa Barbara Sky

The night sky was filled with hot-air balloons at Elings Park in Santa Barbara Saturday.

Hundreds of people came out to the inaugural Glow In The Park fundraiser. Guests were treated to dinner and dancing and some people took balloon rides.

After sunset, the balloons lit up and the dancing began.

The proceeds benefit the local non-profit Doctors Without Walls Santa Barbara Street Medicine.

“We provide medical care to the homeless and the working poor or whenever the need is, including in times of disaster,” Jason Prysowsky, the medical director.

The group was created seven years ago and is run by volunteer doctors, nurses, social workers, students and community members.
