Two People Dead In Head-On Crash On Highway 154
Two people are dead after a head-on car accident near Los Olivos.
It happened around 1:30 p.m. on Highway 154 just west of Foxen Canyon Road.
Three vehicles crashed and one caught fire. A spokesman with the Santa Barbara County Fire Department said the two people in that vehicle died because of the flames.
The second vehicle also had two people inside and they were taken to the hospital by ambulance with moderate injuries.
The driver of the third vehicle told NewsChannel 3 he lost control and crashed into a ditch in order to avoid the head-on accident.
The CHP is investigating what caused the fatal crash.
