Rip Tayor Kicks Off LOL Comedy Festival At The Arlington
Rip Taylor had kind words to say about Joan Rivers before taking the stage at the Arlington Theatre in Santa Barbara Tuesday night. Rivers was placed on life support following a heart attack.
Taylor called Rivers a fun girl who got away with things.
Taylor gets away with things too. The comedian was quick to show off his famous toupee before offering it as a parting gift. He wore a large diamond-covered pinky ring. When asked about it, he said you’ll find out in the documentary.
A new star-studded documentary tells the story of his life as an actor and a comedian and more. It is called, “Rip Rip Hurray,” The audience at the Arlington watched the film before Taylor took the stage.
Taylor, 79, has a star on the walk of fame for acting. He said he was a page in U.S. Senate as a young man and found comedy in the news.
