Oxnard Man Expected to Survive From Gunshot Wound

One man was taken to the hospital Monday night after being shot in Oxnard.

The shooting happened just after 9 o’clock on the 1500 block of East 2nd Street.

Police have few details about the crime, but said the victim was shot at least once and he is expected to survive.

There are no suspects in custody and the investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information should contact the Oxnard Police Department.
