Paraglider Rescued After Crash Landing

Santa Barbara city firefighters had trouble getting to an injured paraglider due to changed locks at the Douglas Family Preserve.

But once they got to the athlete they realized he had fractured his leg.

Witnesses say the paraglider got caught in a tree above the Mesa.

He was taken to Cottage Hospital Monday afternoon.

City crews said it was the second broken bone call of the day.

Another accident victim ran over his own leg.
