Police Say Atascadero Woman Stole Dog By Hiding It Under Her Dress
Paso Robles Police are on the search for an Atascadero woman who stole a puppy from a pet store.
It happened Sunday on the 700 block of 6th Street.
Police say 24-year-old Allison Trammel walked out of the store with an 11-week old English Bulldog – worth 900 dollars. They say she took it from an enclosure and then hid the dog under her dress. No one saw her do it and workers realized it two hours later.
After looking at surveillance video, police identified the woman and were able to find the dog yesterday at a Paso Robles home. Police say Trammel could be driving a red or maroon 4-door Kia Optima.
