Condo Fire Under Investigation In Ventura

A structure fire in Ventura is under investigation Monday. The fire happened at a condominium on the 2300 block of Mohican Lane around 9:23 a.m.

Fire officials say one man was inside the condo trying to put out the flames. He suffered smoke inhalation and is expected to be fine.

The fire was extinguished quickly and damage to the house was minor. Authorities said about $2,000 in property and structural materials was lost in the blaze.

No other homes were affected.
