Hit and Run Sends Parked Santa Barbara Car Over the Curb

A violent hit and run early this morning badly damaged a parked car in Santa Barbara.

A violent hit and run early this morning badly damaged a parked car in Santa Barbara.
It happened about 2 a.m. on Carrillo St. near San Andres St.
A witness told police he saw a female driver of a gray Mercedes Benz get out of the vehicle after it collided with a parked car.

The driver grabbed a broken off bumper, put it in the car and took off.
The impact was so hard, the parked car was knocked on to the sidewalk.
The Mercedes was last seen going east on Carrillo with significant front end damage.
Some debris was also located nearby at Bath St. but no arrest has been made.
