Grant Park Fire Under Investigation
Ventura firefighters said a fire threatened communication towers on a ridge in Grant Park on Thursday afternoon.
Crews put it out in less than an hour and contained the burn to about half an acre.
Grant park is an area above City Hall known for hiking trails and a garden surrounding a cross.
Arson investigators are looking into the cause.
