Bishop Diego Ready to Continue Winning Ways
Bishop Diego High School football is ready and able to win plenty of games behind star running back Abel Gonzalez.
The senior has already gained over two thousand yards in his career and he had to share the workload behind talented upperclassmen. He totaled 27 touchdowns on the ground the past two years while helping the Cardinals run their CIF semifinal appearance streak to three straight years.
Although the Cardinals had six players from last year’s squad move on to four-year schools, everyone expects the Cardinals to compete for a Tri-Valley League crown.
