Royals Football Looks to Continue Upward Trend

San Marcos High School football had a taste of winning and now the Royals want to experience that feeling in the Channel League.

The Royals are coming off a 5-5 season which is a marked improvement over a decade of losing years. But San Marcos went winless in the Channel League for a fourth consecutive season and they feel confident that they can end that dubious streak this year as they return nine starters.

The Royals open August 29 at home against West Ranch.
