Peus & Dons Ready to Surprise Teams

Brent Peus is reunited with coach JT Stone and both are excited about the upcoming high school football season at Santa Barbara High School.

Stone was named interim head coach in July and he has a real comfort level with his junior quarterback. He has coached Peus since Brent was in the sixth grade. Peus was the starting quarterback last year and he has added over twenty pounds to his frame in order to run the ball better and take the pounding.

Santa Barbara does not have great size on their line but Peus says that the team has been working extremely hard since the coaching change from Doug Caines to Stone.

Santa Barbara opens the year at home on August 29 against Oxnard.
