Gauchos and Warriors Battle in Preseason Match

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. – The UC Santa Barbara women’s soccer team opened its 2014 campaign with a solid 2-0 shutout win in an exhibition game against nearby Westmont College on Saturday night at Harder Stadium. Sophomore Dakota Griggs scored in the first half off a corner kick to put UCSB ahead 1 to nothing early on. Both teams will open the regular season this week at home.
