Central Coast’s Weekend Event Picks
Lots of events happening up and down the coast this weekend, here is a look at just a few.
QUICK DRAW & ARTS FESTIVAL | LOS OLIVOS | SAT. 9AM-7PM | MATTEI’S TAVERN
The 28th Annual Los Olivos “Quick Draw & Arts Festival” will be held Saturday, August 16, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on the grounds of the historic Mattei’s Tavern.
Watch 20 renowned artists race to complete their work within one hour.
Visitors can browse the Fine Artwalk and Silent Auction with over 100 works of art to bid on.
There will also live music on two stages provided by over a dozen talented singer/songwriters.
CONCERTS IN SOLVANG PARK | SAT. 6-8PM | FREE | “4 OHMS”
Solvang is holding their Summer Concerts in the Park Saturday.
The free music concert featuring the “4 Ohms” starts at 6 p.m. at Solvang Park.
Bring blankets, chairs and picnic spreads or purchase local foods on-site.

STRIDE WITH THE TIDE | PISMO BEACH | 8:30 AM | $15
For you runners out there, the Stride with the Tide 5K run is this weekend in Pismo Beach.
The race starts at 8:30 a.m. at the pier, and costs only 15 dollars to join in the fun.
Medals will be awards for the top three finishers in all ten age divisions.
