Boyfriend Arrested In Murder Of Pregnant Woman In Santa Paula
Ventura County District Attorney Investigators arrested Antonio Magana Thursday in the murder of a pregnant woman in Santa Paula.
Magana, 18, is accused of stabbing his then girlfriend Ashely Moran five months ago and leaving her body in a park. Moran was pregnant at the time and was discovered by a passerby in a park.
Investigators say the arrest came after an extensive investigation conducted by the Santa Paula Police Department and Ventura County District Attorney’s Office.
According to officials, Magana is a known Santa Paula gang member and was taken into custody without incident on the 300 block of South Palm Avenue in Santa Paula.
