Goal Almost Complete for Goleta Father/Daughter Team

A few weeks ago we brought you the story of a family raising leukemia awareness by running a half marathon in October. Thanks to your support, the team is just $850 away from reaching their goal!

Kirsty Kenny and her father, Tom, are running a half marathon in October to raise awareness of leukemia and blood cancer.

It’s something dear to this mom’s heart as her 2-year-old son, James, had a tumor a year ago that thankfully turned out benign.

Their goal is to raise $6,000 to help with research and raising awareness for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

The father/daughter team are down to two months left to fundraise and $850 away from their goal.
