Officials Close Solvang Division Court Clerk’s Office
The clerk’s office in the Solvang Division of the Santa Barbara County Superior Court will close permanently in the fall.
Court officials said they decided to take this action due to severe ongoing budget reductions.
This courthouse division is at 1745 Mission Drive, in the Santa Ynez Valley.
The Solvang clerk’s office is set to close at the end of the business day on Oct. 10.
Solvang courthouse staff with be directed to assist in the Lompoc Division.
All cases that were started in Solvang court will now be moved to the Lompoc Court Division, at located at 115 Civic Center Plaza, starting Oct. 14.
